Βυθίστηκα στην κατάθλιψη και κανείς δεν μου είπε τι είναι δικό μου λάθος “, δήλωσε ο Ashutosh Sharma στο βίντεο.
Ashutosh Sharma delivered a remarkable performance in IPL 2025, guiding Delhi Capitals (DC) to a thrilling one-wicket victory over Lucknow Super Giants (LSG). Chasing a daunting target of 210, DC found themselves in deep trouble at 65/5 in the seventh over. Enter Ashutosh, who walked in as an Impact substitute and played a game-changing knock. His unbeaten 66 off just 31 balls, featuring five sixes and five fours, showcased his ability to handle pressure and turn the tide in his team’s favor.
Earlier, Ashutosh Sharma’s career encountered a major setback when he reportedly fell out of favor with Chandrakant Pandit, a prominent domestic coach associated with KKR. This led to his exclusion from his state team, despite his impressive performances on the field. In April 2024, Ashutosh candidly spoke about this challenging phase and shared how the experience impacted his form and overall performance. WATCH
Ashutosh Sharma blames KKR coach for depression
“There was a time when I wasn’t even allowed to get a feel of the cricket ground. I would go to the gym and retire to my hotel room. I was sinking into depression, and no one told me what my fault was. A new coach had joined Madhya Pradesh, and he had strong likes and dislikes, and despite scoring 90 odd in 45 balls in a trial match, I was dropped from the team,” said Sharma.
Despite being in an excellent form during Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy, Sharma said that he was not even allowed to enter the ground.
“I had three fifties in six Mushtaq Ali games in the previous season, yet I wouldn’t even be allowed to go to the ground. I was very depressed.” he added.
