Rohit Sharma’s forgetfulness is quite legendary! Recently, he was spotted in Dubai for the ICC Champions Trophy 2025, and it seems he might have forgotten his phone again. This isn’t the first time; Rohit has a history of misplacing things like passports, iPads, and even forgetting the team’s decision at the toss. His teammates and fans often find his absent-minded moments amusing.
In the recent video going viral on social media, Rohit Sharma seems to have misplaced his phone yet again, this time after a practice session before India’s match against New Zealand. In the viral video, you can see him getting off the team bus and chatting with a support staff member when it dawns on him that his device is missing once more.
Rohit Sharma forgets his phone again!
With team India set to take on New Zealand in their upcoming Champions Trophy match, reports have emerged that there is a possibility India will rest captain Rohit in their next match against New Zealand, which will be played on Sunday, 2 March, in Dubai. India’s semi-final is scheduled for March 4, and the team management would not want to take any risks with Rohit. Team India’s semi-final opponent is still undecided, and things will become clear after the last round of matches.
If Rohit Sharma is indeed rested for the IND vs NZ Champions Trophy match, the Indian cricket team could consider bringing in Rishabh Pant or Washington Sundar to the playing XI for the match against New Zealand.
